Delete Your OpenSeatz Account

We’re sorry to see you go. If you no longer wish to use OpenSeatz and want to delete your account, please follow the steps below.

Before You Delete Your Account

Please keep in mind:
  • Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible.
  • You will lose access to:
    • Your profile and personal information
    • Any active or upcoming event tickets
    • Purchase history and preferences
  • If you have any unused tickets or upcoming events, we recommend using, transferring, or resolving them before proceeding.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete via the OpenSeatz App
  • Open the OpenSeatz app.
  • Tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner.
  • Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
  • Scroll down and tap Delete Account at the bottom.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request.

Once initiated, your account will be deactivated. After 15 days, all your data will be permanently deleted. If you change your mind within this period, please contact us, and we'll do our best to assist you.

Option 2: Delete via Web or Email

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Please include:
  • The email address linked to your OpenSeatz account
  • A short message confirming that you want your account permanently deleted
  • (Optional) The reason for deletion — this helps us improve

We may ask for identity verification to protect your account. Once verified, we will begin processing your request.

Change of Mind / Account Reactivation

If your account is still within the 15-day deactivation period, you can request reactivation by contacting our support team at support@openseatz.com.After reactivation, your profile, tickets, and preferences will be restored.

What Happens After Deletion?

  • Your profile and personal data will be permanently removed.
  • Any event history, purchased tickets, or preferences will be deleted.
  • This action is irreversible and cannot be undone.
  • If you’ve purchased tickets for upcoming events, you may lose access to them.

Want a Copy of Your Data?

You may request an export of your account data before deletion by emailing support@openseatz.com. This may include event history, transactions, and preferences.

Important: We are legally required to fulfil your request within one month and will complete your request as soon as possible. If you change your mind during the 15-day deactivation period, please contact us. Once your account has been deleted, we are unable to retrieve it, but you can always create a new account by following our sign-up process.
